Buttermilk Waffle BELT - American Independence Edition
Waffles for breakfast. BLT Waffles for lunch. Inspired by Joy the Baker's Cheddar Buttermilk Waffle BLTs
For the BELT:
1 Belgian waffle, divided in 2
Lettuce, green leaf
1 egg, scrambled
3-4 slices bacon
1/2 tomato, sliced
2 T mayo
Assemble:
- Arrange two Belgian waffle segments on a plate.
- Spread the mayo on a large piece of lettuce, and place on one segment.
- Layer remaining ingredients.
- Close the sandwich
