Spring Pizza

Inspired by Handle the Heat's Whole Wheat Spring Pizza. We have almost all of the ingredients on hand, so why not.

Our Favorite Dough
Za Toppings:
  • Asparagus (previously cooked and frozen)
  • Grape tomatoes
  • Fresh mozzarella
  • Pesto
  • Green onions
  • Penzeys Pizza Seasoning
Pesto:

2 T jarred pesto
handful fresh parsley
1/2 ricotta
garlic powder
1 green onion
Penzey's Pizza seasoning

  • Combine in mini food processor. Add seasoning to taste.

Pizza Assembly:

  • Pre-bake crust at 400 F for 8-10 minutes.
  • Spread pesto evenly.

  • Chop asparagus into bite-size pieces. Cut mozzarella the same. 
  • Add toppings
  • Bake 400 until cheese reaches desired colored, crispiness--about 15 minutes.
