Asparagus and Ham go well together. Grilled Cheese is great too.
Fillings:
- Spicy Mustard
- Sliced ham
- Onions, sautéed
- Asparagus, blanched, cut into strips
- Camembert
Assembly: Spread mustard on one slice of bread. Arrange Camembert slices on the other slice. Broil the Camembert bread until bubbly, and spread the melted cheese evenly on the slice. Arrange asparagus, followed by ham, and onions. Top with remaining slice of bread. Pan fry, spreading bread slices with mayo.
Beverage Pairing: Anchor Steam Beer
Bitter, but balanced by smooth caramel and biscuit malt flavors. Clean drinking.
